We just hosted our 2nd annual Black Friday Bonanza! Once again, this Network Meetup was spearheaded by Scott Winterroth and Joan Margau of Divi Chicago and they did a stellar job! They brought on some help this year. Phil Reinhardt of Divi Milwaukee, Patty Rose of Divi NYC, and Dirk Tolken of Divi Cape Town, all contributed to the event.
And this is the sort of magic that happens in our community on the norms! Have you joined your local Divi meetup yet?? Or, if you have already joined, have you considered applying to join the organizing team? The more the merrier!
Now, check out how our November meetups went down.
Divi Chicago, Illinois, United States

The 2021 Divi Black Friday Bonanza Meetup is a wrap! More than 90 participants from around the globe “zoomed-in” for the second annual Mega Meetup to learn about new Divi features, products and amazing deals during the sale week. Sponsored and moderated by Divi Chicago’s Scott Winterroth, we heard from a variety of Divi leaders including Nathan Weller and Raquel Landefeld from the Elegant Themes team and several independent “marketplace” creators. Big thank you to Mega Meetup co-organizers Joan Margau (Divi Chicago), Phil Reinhardt (Divi Milwaukee), Patty Rose (Divi NYC) and Dirk Tolken (Divi Cape Town) for helping organize and spreading the word!
You blow our minds, Divi Chicago!
Divi Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, USA
From the Host, Tommy Lee & Kent Pilkington:
Attendees: 18
The Divi DFW Meetup topic was how to avoid developing on live sites for clients and businesses. We discussed options afforded by Divi, such as using import/export features, Divi Theme Builder, and Divi Library to prevent “cowboy coding” as it’s affectionately termed. We also talked about general development and WordPress best practices. Overall, we had a great meeting and we’re excited to come back next month with a new topic.
That’s fire, Divi Dallas/Forth Worth!
Divi Washington DC, USA
From the Host, John Browning:
Attendees: 6
We had a great time during our November Meetup discussing ideas about Divi and critiquing some members’ brilliant websites. We also discussed how to protect our photographs and digital art on the internet. Participants were from Washington, DC, California, and a few from Canada. It is great to be part of a worldwide network of Divi lovers!
Divi DC got content drip!
Divi Rio de Janiero, Brazil

Our November Meetup was very valuable.
Daniel Paz, the creator of the performance optimization course for WordPress and owner of the youtube channel “WP Alta Performance”, presented advanced techniques for optimizing websites with Divi and some details also in the Assets Clean Up and Litespeed Cache plugins. Here is the link to the recording.
That’s so fetch, Divi Rio!
Divi Sacramento, California, USA
From the Hosts, Rosalinda Huck & Elizabeth Hahn:
Attendees: 30
For November, our main topic of discussion was Home Page content. Rosalinda provided a wireframe demo and visuals on what types of content to include on a home page, order of importance and structure, and the difference between home pages and landing pages. To round out the year, we’re having an online social in December – bring your favorite beverage, wear your holiday sweater and/or crazy holiday hat, and participate in our silly “Ha-ha-holiday” polls!
Divi SacTown is extra in all the right ways!
Divi Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
From the Host, Dustin Olsen:
Attendees: 5
We had some great questions in our Q&A and a really fluid conversation about Divi, Extra, and some other bits about best practices as it relates to blog posts, plugins, and more.
For those who weren’t able to come and be a part of the Meetup, you were missed and hopefully, you’ll be able to join us again next month. If you’d like to watch a recording of the conversation we had, you can do so here on YouTube: https://youtu.be/CVScjv6nqxQ
Meetup on fleek, SLC!
Divi Tampa, Florida, USA
From the Host, Steve Willingham:
Attendees: 6
We had 6 members attending. Most attendees were from Tampa Bay, but one was from Connecticut. We had very interesting discussions about automating our workflow with Divi, the upcoming black Friday offers from Elegant Themes, and assigning roles to website editors using Divi Roles. We shared links to Divi marketplace and discussed the upcoming Divi Black Friday bonanza.
Divi Tampa is solid. Bet!
