One of our members wanted to automatically fill in WordPress maintenance support plans fields from another node.
It took a little experimentation, but we managed to make it work using the Token, Token Filter and Entity Reference plugins.
This technique works for nodes, but it should allow you to automatically popular field using data from users, comment or any other entity.
